My Definitions

                           




                    - Contrast (Size contrast, shape contrast, texture/color contrast
             Contrast can be defined as “the difference in visual properties that makes an object (or its representation in an image) distinguishable from other objects and the background.” In plain English that could be described at its most basic level as “things which look different from one another.”


 Emphasis 
special importance, value, or prominence given to something.

Balance (informal balance, and formal balance
 -Each side of the vertical center of a photograph has equal weight and have similar or exactly the same shape, texture, and value contrast.The objects have nearly the same "visual weight" on either side of the vertical center of the photograph composition, but are different in size, shape, texture, or value.

the art of drawing solid objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other when viewed from a particular point.
